Payroll has been my career for the past 15 years. I didn’t choose it but it certainly chose me! I am excited to be a part of the local chapter and honestly feel that the chapter gives us a real opportunity to grow in our career and network with other professionals. I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and am the Payroll Director at Lithko Contracting, LLC. I have been a part of the local chapter since 2017 & obtained my CPP in 2018. I have strategically moved in my career to gain experience in various fields such as multi-state taxation, prevailing wage, 401K, Workers Comp, EEO-1, FLSA, union Payroll, construction payroll, manufacturing payroll, commission calculation and mergers & acquisitions. I enjoy being a mentor and sharing my experiences with my employees as well as anyone that wants to listen! I am a mother of three adult daughters and usually spend my free time in the gym or outdoors!

I obtained my CPP in 2014 and would not have been able to do it without the support of the Greater Cincinnati NKY APA Chapter. I have been a member since 2012 and enjoy attending the monthly meetings and learning with my fellow payroll professionals. I have been processing payroll for 16 years with my current employer. During this time, I have been involved in company mergers, closing and opening new state, SUI and local accounts, onboarding of new hires and separations. Over the years I have participated in the many volunteer opportunities with my employer like The Boys Hope Girls Hope, The Children’s Home of Cincinnati and The Ronald McDonald House. Prior to my payroll years, I worked as an Admin to district Manager of a local grocery store chain. During my children’s in school, I was treasurer of the PTO, Popcorn Kernel for our Cub Scout Troop and Team Mom – Meal Coordinator for High School Wrestling Team.

I am a Senior Product Compliance Analyst at Paycor. I have been with Paycor for seven years with roles in payroll processing, customer service and product compliance. In addition to the local APA chapter, I am a member of the national APA and serve on the APA GRTF State and Local Subcommittee, as well as the APA GRTF Federal Issues Subcommittee. I received my CPP certification in 2019. I live in Oxford, OH with my husband and one year-old daughter.

I am excited about the opportunity to be up for the Social Media role. I am a newer member of the local chapter, and look forward to jumping in and getting involved with everything that it has to offer. I am a Payroll Specialist with Lithko Contracting, and have been learning from my team members the ins and outs of the payroll world. I have recently decided to take the APA’s FPC exam in the fall, and will be attending the study group classes that the GCNKY chapter provides this summer. I have also been a part of Lithko’s contributions to the program Adopt a Class this year, and have enjoyed witnessing the impact that the program has on the kids’ lives. I believe I can make a lasting positive change in regards to the social media side of the local chapter, in promoting the positive change that the GCNKY chapter has on the local payroll community. I look forward to serving this community in this position.

I have been working in Payroll for the last 34 years and wouldn’t trade a thing. I have also been an APA member since 2017 and have volunteered at many of the National Payroll Dinners and am very involved with our team in Adopt-A-Class which is very rewarding. I recommend everyone get involved! I am currently the Lead PR Specialist at Lithko Contracting. We process payroll for approximately 3000 EE’s weekly. It is my job to make sure that our Payroll runs smoothly and efficiently each week and that our Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll Reports are processed accurately and timely. I have also been and will continue to be directly involved of the implementations of our new acquisitions which is both challenging and rewarding to me. Because of all of this experience and attention to detail, I believe I would be a great Secretary for our Chapter!
